Champion swimmer Jessica-Jane Applegate hit top form at the World Championships as she set her sights on the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
Competing at the 2023 Para Swimming World Championships in Manchester, Miss Applegate, from Burgh Castle, regained the top spot in the S14 200m freestyle, for the first time in ten years.
She also won gold with Team GB in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay and silver in the mixed 4x100m medley relay, alongside William Ellard, Poppy Maskill and Jordan Catchpole.
Miss Applegate has now claimed 40 international medals over her career.
She said: "I am over the moon to come away a double World Champion and a silver medallist.
"Being asked to represent Great Britain in the two relay teams was a fantastic opportunity for me.

"I held my nerve and gave it everything I had.
"It’s given me hope of making that ultimate dream of being at my fourth Paralympic Games in Paris a possibility."
Miss Applegate thanked her supporters on social media, the City of Norwich Swimming Club, Wymondham Chiropractor and the Active Clinic in Great Yarmouth.
