Where to watch England's World Cup 2026 games in Norfolk

Football fans are warming up for the biggest World Cup in history with nearly 50 teams vying for glory on the world stage.

Kicking off on Thursday, June 11, the global football spectacular will be splashed across screens in Norfolk as thousands gather to watch high-stakes group clashes and unmissable knockout drama.

Pubs and bars across the county are expected to be packed with fans, as they stream the matches for all to enjoy and offer exclusive World Cup menus.

And if you do not know where to go, here are some places across Norfolk where you can watch the games and embrace the football frenzy.

1. The King's Arms

Those living in Great Yarmouth can flock to the King's Arms to watch the games, which be shown inside the pub only.

It will be operating a guest list for England group matches, so the landlords have asked for people to get in touch if they would like to go.

This will guarantee your entry to the pub.

2. The Railway Tavern

Where: 21 Yaxham Road, Dereham, NR19 1HB

The Railway Tavern has fully embraced the football spirit, with a grandstand painted as the St George's flag and daily countdown to the start of the tournament

The England matches are ticketed here, with spaces filling up quickly.

80pc of the midweek game tickets have already sold and the Saturday game is now 90pc sold out.

For £15, you’ll get entry to all three England group games on its screens inside and outside.

3. The Crown

Where: East Cliff, Sheringham, Norfolk, NR26 8BQ

At The Crown, World Cup matches will be shown live, with "premium" drinks flowing at the bar, matchday food available and screens positioned for prime viewing

It is recommended to book beforehand, with the England matches expected to go fast.

The Crown reopened in March after a six-figure investment which now sees it sit in Stonegate Group’s Pubsmiths division. 

The pub has refreshed interiors, upgraded lighting and furniture and a relocated side bar. 

4. The Waterfront

Where: 139-141 King Street, Norwich, NR1 1QH

The Waterfront in Norwich will become a dedicated England fan park throughout the tournament, with multiple screens, food trucks, bands, DJs and merchandise all in the line-up.

A different tribute act has been booked to perform on the day of each England match during the group stages.

The events are for people aged 18 and over and tickets are available online now.

Doors will open at 6pm.

5. Hoste Arms

From the opening fixture to the final whistle, you can catch every moment at the Hoste Arms and enjoy a range of food and drinks throughout.

And here you can take your matchday to the next level with your own private viewing space.

The private room offers a cinema-style World Cup experience where you can enjoy every moment of the action in your own dedicated space.

You are recommended to book a table or the private viewing space in advance.

6. Sole and Heel

Where: 2 Salhouse Road, Rackheath, NR13 6QH

Fans can watch the England matches at the Sole and Heel, with all group stage, knockout matches and every round beyond that, shown live on its big screen.

There will also be live music before every game and you are recommended to book your slot for the games beforehand.

7. The Lamb Inn

Where: Haymarket, Norwich, NR1 3RU

The Lamb Inn is showing every match live, accompanied by pub classics, sharing plates and pints - some of which are brand new in time for the tournament.

As the pub does get busy, it is recommended to book a table to not miss out.

8. The Empire

Where: 43 Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2HF

The Empire, which closed last September, will welcome visitors back for a special series of events during the 2026 World Cup, showing every England match live on the big screen.

The first event will take place on June 17, when England face Croatia at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Fans can expect a full entertainment experience, with DJ sets beginning two hours before kick-off and continuing for an hour after the final whistle.

9. Kerry's

With two huge projector screens, Kerry's is a perfect spot for fans to enjoy the matches.

It will be offering drink deals for the entire tournament, a World Cup food menu, live singers and entertainment, and "packed fan energy in the heart of the city".

10. The Eagle

Where: 110 Norfolk Street, King's Lynn, PE30 1AQ

The Eagle is one of the only places that has called a red card on bookings, with the pub offering only walk ins and "a proper pub atmosphere".

There are a number of drink offers available during the tournament, and it also has a Craft Union Big Summer Scorecard for a chance to win several prizes.

11. The Green Dragon

Where: 5 Market Place, Thetford, IP24 2AJ

Cheer on your favourite team to win at The Green Dragon, which like The Eagle, does not offer bookings.

Instead, locals are encouraged to walk in and enjoy the match atmosphere with your friends and family, with a range of drinks and pub snacks available.

12. Epic Studios

Epic Studios is one of Norwich’s biggest city centre fan-zones.

They’ll be showing all of the England games, complete with Norwich’s longest bar, street food, special effects, trestle tables and benches.

All ages are welcome, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are free to the games, but they are recommended to secure entry.
