A Norfolk village finally has a post office again, after its old one closed more than six months ago.

An opening ceremony was held at at Tidings Newsagents and Convenience Store in Horning on December 3 to mark the long-awaited return.

Ian and Gail Watling, who run the shop in Lower Street, had been campaigning to open a new post office in the village since the previous branch closed back in May.

“We know how important post office services are to customers and we are confident that the villagers and those nearby have easy access to these vital services."
