Police have found two missing teenage girls in the old wax museum in Great Yarmouth.

Norfolk Police received reports on Wednesday (November 27) that two girls were missing from the Norwich area. 

The force has been conducting searches in and around the city to locate the pair and extensive inquiries led officers to Great Yarmouth. 

This morning (Friday, November 29) there was a large police presence seen around the front and back of the old Louis Tussauds House of Wax building in Regent Road in Great Yarmouth.

One of the girls was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre. 

The other girl has been taken into police protection.

When they closed, they managed to sell their entire collection to a private buyer in the Czech Republic.

The building, 12 years on, still remains vacant.
