A beloved Norfolk Broads cafe will not reopen for the 2025 season.
For five years, Dunes Cafe ran from a listed, thatched chalet beside the River Bure at Acle Bridge.
But the Broads Authority, which owns the site, has confirmed it will not return next year due to the building's deterioration.
A spokesman for the organisation explained: "After five brilliant years the Dunes Cafe is no longer going to be operating from this location.
"The buildings, including the thatched chalet, are not in ideal condition any more for operating as a cafe going forwards."

They added that restoration work is in the pipeline - but because they are "keen to see a business thrive", a mobile caterer will be invited to occupy the spot in the meantime.
The site is being offered exclusively and rent-free on a profit-share basis, with the season running from the Spring Bank Holiday to the end of October 2025.
Applications are open now.
The Dunes Cafe further along the Broads at Waxham Barn will be unaffected.
