Police have given up searching for a man whose attack on another driver hospitalised him in a road rage incident.
The assault happened between 6.30 and 6.50am on July 30, in the layby of the A47 before the William Adams roundabout between Gorleston and Great Yarmouth.
The victim was punched in the face by another man resulting in serious injuries which required hospital treatment.

The suspect was said to be driving a small grey car.
A Norfolk police spokeswoman has confirmed the case is now closed but they would "always review any new information" provided.
