Norfolk has been ranked top of 28 similar councils in a national independent survey that asked the public to rate their satisfaction with roads and transport.
For the second year in a row, Norfolk County Council had the highest satisfaction rate among comparable councils in the National Highways and Transport survey.
Norfolk achieved an overall score of 49, above the 44 average overall score among similar councils.

People from across the county gave the highest above average scores in satisfaction with the condition of the highways, local bus services, traffic levels and congestion.
Graham Plant, the Conservative-controlled council's cabinet member for highways, infrastructure and transport, said: “To achieve first place amongst our peers for a second year in a row is fantastic news.
"This achievement is testament to the hard work and dedication of all the highway and transport team, and demonstrates how ambitious we are to be the best for Norfolk’s residents.
"In these difficult financial times we have to make some tough decisions when it comes to our budgets, but we continue to deliver high satisfaction across all areas of this important service."
