Christmas lights showcased London bus tour of Norfolk towns

Next month a "beautifully restored" 1966 Routemaster bus will head out from Corton near Lowestoft on a tour that will showcase Christmas Lights in Gorleston and Great Yarmouth.

Organised by Magnus PR, this cosy Christmas vintage bus tour of around three hours takes place on Friday, December 13.

It includes hot chocolate, mulled wine, cookies, Elf entertainment and a small treat for each child.

Ann-marie Doggett - owner of Magnus PR - runs unique events across Suffolk and Norfolk - which have included themed party cruises along the River Waveney.

And after the marketing and events agency based in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft celebrated its fifth anniversary of business in September last year with special guest DJ Ironik entertaining as part of an R'n'B birthday cruise, it is preparing for another festive treat.

Mrs Doggett said: "Step aboard the beautifully restored 1966 Routemaster bus, dressed in your comfiest pyjamas and dressing gowns - with hats and gloves recommended.

"This iconic bus - number 2401 of 2876 historic London buses - is a true classic and can accommodate up to 72 passengers.

With departure from Waterside Park, Corton, the treat begins at 5pm on December 13 with a takeaway cup of hot chocolate or mulled wine and a cookie from the Coast Bar and Restaurant.

Once on board the decorated bus, each child will be gifted a small treat from the Christmas Elf, who will entertain all throughout the journey.

With mince pies and "surprises along the way" the tour will head from Corton to Gorleston and then on to Great Yarmouth’s seafront and town before returning to Corton.
