People in Norfolk are gearing up for a blustery 24 hours as gale-force winds are forecast overnight.
The Met Office has warned category eight gales of up to 40mph could batter parts of the county, with towns and villages on the east coast set to bear the brunt.
A front of high pressure will bring northerly winds into East Anglia this afternoon and into the night creating a brisk and blustery evening with temperatures hovering around 10C although it is likely to feel cooler.

The gusts are forecast to continue through the night where speeds will peak in the Great Yarmouth area at around 2am tomorrow.
Moving north, Cromer and Wells will also be hit with strong winds although their gales will peak at around 36mph.

Inland gusts are predicted to be milder with Norwich, Diss and Thetford all set to see highs of around 30mph at a slightly later time of around 9am.
Into the morning the winds will bring patches of cloud and the potential for fog into Norfolk that will remain over the county for much of the day.
The gales will begin to cool off at around 2pm when speeds on the east coast will drop to a less brisk 24mph.
