A former theatre boss has swapped curtain calls for cappuccinos after taking on a Norwich business.
Stuart Malkovich is the new owner of Crocodile Sandwich and Coffee Bar at 10 Tombland and customers can eat in or takeaway.
It has operated under the same name for around 40 years and Mr Malkovich has extended the opening hours to 7.30am to 4pm from Monday to Saturday.

He said: "I saw it advertised for sale and visited two or three times and really liked the feel of the place."
It is a complete change in career for him as he was previously one of the directors at the Gorleston Pavilion Theatre for 30 years.
He ran it with his partner Kevin Lynch, who passed away from cancer at the start of 2023.
Wanting to do something different, the venue is now operated by the Gorleston Pavilion Trust and he has relocated to Norwich.
Alongside coffees and other drinks, the food on offer includes pastries, soup, jacket potatoes, cakes and sandwiches, using local produce where possible.
There is the option to create your own lunch, starting by selecting a base with options such as a bap, baguette, thick-cut bread or a salad box.

Customers can then choose from a huge range of fillings, from Mediterranean roasted vegetables to Norfolk ham.
There is also a list of classic meat, fish and vegetarian combinations and a grab-and-go section if you need some help deciding.
Mr Malkovich has introduced a small seating area and his team can cater for offices in the city centre too.
Mr Malkovich added: "Come down and give us a try and if we don't have something you want then we will do our best to accommodate.
"Support a local business that supports other local businesses."
In the future, he is planning to expand the gluten-free and vegan offerings.
