Controversial political commentator Katie Hopkins is set to bring her one-woman show to Norfolk next year.
The 49-year-old, who is known for her polarising views, will perform her show 'Batsh*t Bonkers Britain' at the Britannia Pier Theatre in Great Yarmouth next July.
Hopkins first rose to fame as a contestant on The Apprentice, before becoming a divisive media personality with stints as a newspaper columnist and appearances on reality shows like I’m a Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother.
She is perhaps best known for her outspoken views on issues such as multiculturalism and immigration - views which have led to accusations of spreading racial hatred.
Hopkins' social media presence has also been a source of controversy.
In 2020, she was suspended from Twitter - now known as X - for "violations of hateful conduct policy," but was reinstated last November after Elon Musk took over the platform.
One Facebook user criticised the Britannia Pier Theatre for "aligning with personalities" like Hopkins, calling her "a far-right, nasty piece of work" who builds her career on "bullying and inciting hatred."
Another person predicted a backlash from the "woke left," while others expressed concern about her controversial background.

Hopkins, who currently has 270,000 Facebook followers, has made headlines repeatedly for her provocative comments.
In 2016, the MailOnline was forced to pay damages to a Muslim family after Hopkins falsely accused them of extremist links.
More recently, she was seen accompanying far-right figure Tommy Robinson to court in London.
On a previous visit to Great Yarmouth, in May 2019, protestors told Hopkins she was "not welcome" in the town.
