A motorist without a valid driving licence lost control of his BMW and crashed into a lamppost and a wall, causing a "loud bang".
Police were called to the dramatic incident in Yarmouth Way in Great Yarmouth when a BMW flattened a lamppost and crashed head-on into a wall.
Firefighters joined police officers at the scene to assist in closing the road to allow the lamppost to be replaced.

The driver was not hurt in the incident and when the police arrived on the scene they issued him a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) for driving without a valid licence and his car was seized.
It happened at about midnight on September 27.
Witnesses said they heard a "screech" as the car accelerated down the road followed by a "loud bang" as the motorist slammed into the lamppost and wall.
"It was a Friday night and I had been watching TV quite late, my partner was asleep next to me but we both woke up from the loud bang," a neighbour said.
"I for a second wondered if the Great Yarmouth bomb from last February had exploded again it was a big bang, and we rushed out to check the driver was okay."
