A beer festival with a twist will return to a Norfolk seaside town next weekend.

The Drill House's fourth Great Yarmouth Beer and Circus Festival will run from September 19 to September 22.

Organisers Out There Arts are promising 27 beers, 10 ciders and an exciting line-up of circus and live music performances.

Guests can try their hand at circus skills during special workshops and enjoy stacked burgers, jumbo hot dogs and loaded fries from The Beer Festival Kitchen.

It will be supported by 30 businesses including the local brewery Lacons and CAMRA.

Amy Hancock, Lacons' marketing manager, said: “Lacons is proud to be supporting the Great Yarmouth Beer and Circus Festival for the fourth consecutive year, furthering our decade-long partnership with Out There Arts.

"This festival isn’t just about excellent brews, it’s a celebration of community and creativity, festival goers will be treated to circus thrills, live music and entertainment.

“This year promises an impressive line-up of beers and ciders from renowned breweries such as Grain, Duration, Fat Cat and some exciting new beers from Bristol Beer Factory, alongside our flagship Lacons encore and our latest seasonal ale, Sundown a 5pc golden IPA.”

Emily Cserei, executive producer of Out There Arts, added: “We are incredibly proud of how the community has embraced and supported this festival.

The event will run from 5pm until 11pm on the Thursday, midday until 11pm on the Friday and Saturday and midday until 4pm on the Sunday.

Tickets cost £3 each when bought online and CAMRA members can enter for free with proof of membership.
