A bid to build 29 houses in Bradwell is being recommended for approval - despite facing almost 100 objections from neighbours.
The scheme, submitted by Aldreds estate agents, would see the houses built on land east of Kings Drive.
The application was first submitted in September 2023 but was then withdrawn in April this year following the collapse of Lowestoft-based developers Wellington Construction.
An updated application was lodged to planners at Great Yarmouth Borough Council in June.

The plans include 26 houses that would be sold on the open market, and three flats categorised as affordable.
There would be seven two-bedroom, 12 three-bedroom and seven four-bedroom houses, as well as two one-bedroom flats and one two-bedroom flat.
The application is facing 95 objections from neighbours who have raised a variety of concerns including the volume of traffic, lack of space for children to play and the impact on local services.
Bradwell Parish Council is also opposed to the plans and flagged a lack of facilities including dentists and medical centres which are "stretched to the limits".
The bid also received five letters of support.
In August, the applicant resubmitted the plans with minor changes to the layout and house type.
The scheme will be discussed on Monday, September 16, by Great Yarmouth Borough Council's development management committee.
Ahead of the meeting, planners said the application is considered acceptable and suitable to be recommended for approval.

A related bid to build 75 houses off Meadowland Drive was also withdrawn in April. That bid was likely to be rejected by the council.
Villagers had previously opposed both developments, writing 97 letters of objection against them over fears they would lead to increased traffic and strain on public services.
Wellington Construction, one of the region's major building companies, ceased trading in November last year, leading to the loss of 51 jobs.
