A coffee shop and car park at a Norfolk village's playing field are to close while upgrade work is carried out.

The King George V playing field is currently having new equipment installed and the facilities will close on September 16 to allow work to proceed.

The site is managed by the Caister Playing Field charity which has called for drivers to "please respect our neighbours when parking on Allendale Road" while the car park is closed for resurfacing.

The section of the park that is having new equipment installed is currently fenced off while works are ongoing.
