A dedicated weight loss consultant is making a strong comeback by taking up her third Slimming World group after battling breast cancer.
Claire Utting, an 11-year veteran of the Slimming World consulting team, initially joined the organisation in 2009 to shed her pregnancy weight.
Moving quickly towards her target, she was elated to have only gained four pounds after the birth of her baby, Felix.
Despite her medical setback on Felix's ninth birthday, Claire returned to Slimming World, drawing strength from the supportive community.
She is now launching a Potter Heigham Slimming World group.
Looking back at joining the slimming group after her cancer battle, she said: "Going back to group was a huge step, it was humbling to have to start my journey again but my fellow slimmers and my super supportive members cheered me on every step of the way.
"I soon saw that two stone gone again and now realise that the sky is the limit and set my new dream weight for something that truly excites me.”
Claire takes pride in sharing success stories, including members who’ve managed drastic weight loss through the Norfolk County Council referral scheme.
One member managed to lose six stone in under a year.
Recovering while helping others, Claire relaunched the Potter Heigham group in addition to her Martham group.
Her sights are now set on reaching her new dream weight.
Motivated to guide everyone towards successful weight loss, Claire said: "You can see from my story that nothing is impossible.
"With a willing heart and good support, we can work on your comeback together."
