National Highways has warned of "significant" closures on the A47 next month.
The closures are part of a £100 million project to dual the Blofield and North Burlingham stretch of the road.
Work began on August 19 and is expected to continue in different phases until 2025 or 2026.
From September 2 to September 20, the road will be blocked overnight from Cucumber Lane to the Acle roundabout.
Between 8pm and 6am eastbound traffic will be diverted along the 47 westbound, A146 southbound, A143 northbound, A47 westbound and back to the Acle roundabout.
Westbound traffic will follow the reverse route.
Just days later at midnight on September 4, the B1140 South Walsham Road will be blocked at its junction with the A47 Yarmouth Road.
