The 77th Festival of Bowls is set to start this weekend on Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile.
The event, hosted by Visit Great Yarmouth, will kick off on Sunday, August 25 attracting bowlers from around the UK to the greens by Britannia Pier.
This year's festival expects to be the largest and most exhilarating with competitors of all abilities, from novices to experienced professionals.
Players are ready to demonstrate their skills and play against the best in the sport, all the while enjoying the companionship and communal spirit the festival is famous for.

Various tournaments, including men’s, ladies and mixed teams, will compete for singles, pairs, triples and fours.
Winners of each competition will receive a trophy, as will some runners up, along with prize money.
Paul Nicholls will be live streaming some of the highly anticipated matches on his Youtube channel.
Details of which matches will be streamed will be available on the festival’s Facebook page.
The competition, set to run until Saturday, September 21, has been made possible due to generous funding from Visit Great Yarmouth and other sponsors ranging from Wentworth Holidays, Mal Dixon to Thompsons Food Service Ltd.

Ruth Cockrill, Great Yarmouth Borough Council’s marketing and events officer, said: ‘’We are looking forward to another excellent Visit Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls.
"It is a key fixture in the sport’s annual calendar and we look forward to seeing all the competitors this year for what we know will be an entertaining and keenly contested programme.
‘’I’d like to thank all our sponsors and supporters – as well as the competitors – for helping to make sure this fantastic event can take place.’’
Among the competitions, the ladies singles, men’s fours, men's pair and men’s singles are some of the anticipated events.
Over 60s open singles and pairs will also grab attention.
