Plans to open a new cider bar in a Norfolk village have been given the green light.
Russell Watson, of East Norfolk Cider, an award-winning brewery based in Scratby, put forward proposals to open the taproom in nearby Ormesby St Margaret earlier this year.
The plans have been approved by Great Yarmouth Borough Council, despite concerns from 14 locals who are worried about noise created by the proposed venue.

The company, which has been brewing in Scratby for 14 years, highlighted the potential social benefits of having a bar in the community, which they argued would outweigh noise concerns.
The bar will be opened in a former estate agents, Town and Country, which closed in September last year.
It will be called The Butcher's Tap Room and will serve the brewery's own cider and apple juice, a selection of local ales, spirits and wines, as well as hot drinks and snacks.
