Here are seven sets of roadworks across Norfolk and Waveney happening over the next few weeks that you need to be aware of.
1. Trowse and Martineau Lane, Norwich
Works at Trowse and Martineau Lane continue to cause extensive delays, with an expected completion date of August 23.
First Bus services including X1, X2, X11, X21 and X22 will be diverted via the A47 and the A140, in both directions, between 7am and 7pm daily until further notice.
Charcoal line services will be diverted via Arminghall.
2. Plumstead Road, Norwich
Plumstead Road is currently closed between Hilary Avenue and Vincent Road due to a sinkhole in the road.
The closure is expected to be in place until August 16.
During this time, the 23 and 23A bus service will operate from Bishopbridge, along Gurney Road through Mousehold Heath to resume on the normal route at Sprowston Retail Park.
The 24, 24A and 24B will operate from Wensum House, past the rail station, then Harvey Lane to the Heartsease roundabout, to join normal routes.
3. Cecil Road, Norwich
Buses will be diverted due to roadworks at the junction of Cecil Road and Trafford Road until September 16.
Due to the works partially obstructing the junction, services 38 and 36B will be diverted via Southwell Road in both directions.
4. Sandringham Avenue, Great Yarmouth
Sandringham Avenue will be closed between Monday, September 2 and Friday, September 20, to allow gas main works to take place.
First Bus service 8 will need to divert up Northgate Street, along Caister Road and then via Barnard Crescent and Barnard Avenue on to the route towards Caister.
The same diversion will be taken in reverse.
5. Lynn Road, Tilney High End
Works are being carried out by Norfolk County Council at Lynn Road, Tilney High End from Tuesday, August 13, until Friday, August 16.
First Bus Excel services A and C will be unable to serve School Road, Tilney High End and Shelter, Terrington St John in both directions.
6. Gloucester Avenue, Lowestoft
Gloucester Avenue in Lowestoft will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Thursday, August 15 to allow BT to replace a telegraph pole.
Service 102 will be on a diversion via Orwell Drive into Claydon Drive and back on to the line of route.
7. Beccles town centre
Beccles town centre and Old Market Place bus station will be closed off to all traffic from 12.45pm to 3.30pm on Sunday, August 18, for the Beccles Carnival.
During this time bus services will be diverted from Ingate back out via the A146 Beccles bypass and back on to the usual route at Gillingham.
