A new takeaway could open in a former Covid-19 vaccination centre in Gorleston.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council is looking at a planning application to change the use of the building on Lowestoft Road into a hot food takeaway. 

The proposal includes the installation of odour extraction and ventilation system and flue.

So far, there have been no objections to the plans. 

According to the application, the opening hours would be 3pm to 12am Sunday to Thursday, and 3pm to 1am on Friday and Saturday.

A decision on the bid is expected by August 13.
