A hospital is throwing open its doors to offer a tour to people curious about what goes on in its wards and various medical departments.
The open day event at the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston is set to take place on June 29 from 11am to 3pm.
This family-friendly occasion promises to be educational and interactive with guided tours around numerous departments within the hospital.
These insightful visits will provide a look behind the scenes at areas including its pharmacy, maternity suite, theatres and CT, MRI, and X-ray departments, among others.
Tours are available for booking on arrival and will start at the Burrage Centre.
Alongside this, attendees can also visit the Louise Hamilton Centre, which serves as a hub for various support groups.
An array of interactive stalls will be present, and the Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing on Wheels bus will be offering additional support and distributing information.

Jo Segasby, chief executive of the James Paget, said: “We’re looking back to the brilliant summer events our hospital has held over its history, and are very excited to host our first ppen day for a number of years.
“The day will be a unique chance for all the family to find out about how our services work, and the brilliant work our staff provide in caring for our patients, as well as find out more about our vision for a new hospital in the future.”
Throughout the day, cakes and refreshments will be available for purchase.
The hospital is also welcoming donations towards the James Paget Hospital Charity Robot Appeal, a campaign aimed at funding a new surgical robot.
Parking will be free for all attendees from 11am to 3pm at Car Park E, providing convenient access to the event.
