Five people have been taken to hospital after a serious crash on the A47.
The collision between a Maserati Quattriporte and a yellow Seat Ibiza left the Seat driver and three passengers with serious injuries.
Dramatic images have been released showing the aftermath of the crash which saw a fire crew use hydraulic rescue equipment to cut the car in two and free the passengers.
The photos were released by the partner of the woman who was driving the Seat whose son has now been transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
The road was closed for several hours after the crash at 11.30am on Saturday.
The driver of the Maserati was also injured and taken to the James Paget Hospital for further care.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving prior to the incident.
