People were shocked to see a car being driven in the wrong direction along a stretch of the A47.

Shane Rynn was the passenger in a vehicle driving down the carriageway at North Burglingham, between Brundall and Acle, at around 9.30pm on Monday.

When he spotted the other car driving in the same direction as him on the opposite carriageway, he pulled his phone out to film it.

"They were driving the wrong way on the actual road like it was normal," he said. "I think it was crazy."

He shared it to several local Facebook groups, sparking equal volumes of outrage and surprise from viewers. 

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary said police had not received any reports of the incident.
