A new home care service office has opened in Gorleston.
Bluebird Care East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft has opened its offices in Gorleston, aiming to provide independence for residents in their homes.
This expansion also creates 30 new jobs ranging from care experts to administrative roles.
The family-run service, spearheaded by Kerry Hobbs, promises a range of care services for the community including companionship and domiciliary care to respite, night, and live-in care.
Ms Hobbs, director at Bluebird Care East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, said: "I know from experience how difficult it can be navigating the different care options available, and so I’m pleased to be able to make this journey easier for people in the local community.
"The wider Great Yarmouth area means so much to me and my family is all still based here too – so when the opportunity came to bring our services to Gorleston I didn’t think twice.
"The team and I are already getting stuck into making sure people can maintain their independence within the comfort of their own home, rather than moving to a residential care home if this isn’t the right time for them.”
