Thousands of people in Great Yarmouth will see changes to their bin days next month.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council has announced it will be making changes to bin collection days for household and garden waste bins.
Black, green and brown bins will continue to be emptied on a fortnightly schedule just with new days.
The council will also change communal bin collections - moving from weekly to alternative week collections.
The shared bins served 3,000 properties when they were introduced in 2013, before growing to more than 7,000.
The new proposals aim to make collections more efficient, allowing for "the waste service to be future-proofed by improving capacity to take housing growth".

Councillor Paul Wells said: "With the addition of more communal housing areas to the rounds and the number of new properties we need to serve, we need to make changes to ensure the collection process and routes are fit for purpose.
"Working jointly with our operational company, Great Yarmouth Services Ltd, the changes will crucially also help towards our strategy of improving recycling and reducing waste.''
Locals in the area will receive a letter instructing them on the changes to their roads.
The council has also pledged that no jobs will be lost as a result of the changes.
