Tesco shoppers in Great Yarmouth hunted for a share of £500k for schools in the area.
Shoppers had an opportunity to win a share of £500,000 for a school or children's community project on Saturday, March 16.
As part of Tesco’s ‘Stronger Starts’ campaign, between 12pm and 1pm, customers could take a lucky dip in 100 different Tesco stores to find a gold token.
If the golden token was discovered, the customer could choose an eligible school or community project to receive a £5,000 Golden Grant.
Claire De Silva, head of communities for Tesco, said: “Right now, £5,000 can make a massive difference to a school or community project and help them give children a stronger start in life.
"Our Stronger Starts campaign has already funded so many groups and schools right across the UK and we can’t wait to see what these Golden Tokens can do in more communities across the country."
In Great Yarmouth, the three recipients hoping to be awarded the Golden Token and £5,000 were the 1st Caister Scout Group, Ormesby Village Infant School, and Ormiston Venture Academy.
