An experienced publican with 25 years in the hospitality industry is opening a new cafe at a Great Yarmouth seafront attraction.
Matthew Knapp, 45, is fully renovating the former Sands Cafe premises on Britannia Pier into a completely new food and drink destination.
Under the Pier will open on March 1 with a focus on breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, loaded fries and more.
Mr Knapp said: "We are looking to really modernise the food on offer and source everything from local butchers and bakers.
"As well as a whole new rebranding, the space is being deep-cleaned and fully renovated ahead of opening."
