An investigation has been launched after a brick was thrown at a moving police car from an A47 footbridge.

The car was driving along the road at Gorleston just after midnight on Tuesday morning when it was struck by an object.

The brick, described as grey and square, was dropped by two males from the footbridge that crosses the dual carriageway just after the Victoria Road roundabout.
