A former Miss Norfolk was viciously attacked in a pub while trying to break up a fight.
Neuza Vika was in the Theatre Tavern in Great Yarmouth on New Year's Eve when a violent scuffle broke out.
According to Ms Vika, she was leaving the toilets at about 10.30pm when she saw one of her friends lying on the floor, being punched and kicked by several people.
While attempting to break up the fight, she was punched by a man who had yelled racial abuse at her.
Ms Vika, who lives in Great Yarmouth, said: "As soon as they saw me, they attacked me.
"Then 'bang', I was out on the floor."
