A man has been taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after a serious assault. 

Police received reports of an assault in Regent Road in Great Yarmouth at 12.07pm today and a man in his 50s was taken to James Paget Hospital.

He is being transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with potentially life-threatening injuries.
