A circus show had to be abandoned after an acrobat was hurt in a fall while performing a stunt in Great Yarmouth this evening.
The incident happened when one of the performers at the Hippodrome fell off an aerial spinning wheel before colliding with metal scaffolding and hitting the ground.
Privacy screens were put up as two doctors from the audience came to help.
The accident happened at the 6.30pm showing of the Christmas Spectacular show at the Hippodrome.
Those in attendance report that the show had to be cancelled as the acrobat was treated.
His injuries are not yet known and the venue is yet to release any details.
