From a panto horse race to dazzling fireworks, head to these Norfolk locations to see Christmas lights getting switched on in style in 2023.
1. Attleborough
When: Sunday, November 26
The Attleborough Christmas lights switch-on will take place at 4.15pm in Queens Square.
From 1pm until 6pm, there will also be a carnival with festive activities and entertainment.

2. Cromer
When: Saturday, December 2
There will be festivities all day, including market stalls on The Meadow Road Car Park and in the Parish Hall, the Christmas Tree Festival in Cromer Church and a Santa's Grotto in the Community Centre.
The torchlight parade sets off from North Lodge Park to the churchyard at 4.30pm.
For the lights switch-on, gather along the High Street and Tucker Street at 5pm, with entertainment followed by the main event at 5.45pm, featuring Father Christmas.
3. Diss
When: Saturday, December 2
This year's event will take place on the first Saturday in December from 12noon until 6.30pm at the Market Place, with the dazzling switch-on at 5pm.
You can expect an afternoon of live music and comedy, including Britain's Got Talent star Ben Langley, a Santa's grotto, food and drink stalls and a small funfair.

4. Downham Market
When: Sunday, November 26
Head to the town centre for an afternoon of festive fun, which starts at 2pm and is followed by the lights switch-on at 4.30pm.
There will also be fairground rides and games, festive food, live music, community stalls and free Santa's grotto visits.
5. Great Yarmouth
When: Friday, November 24
The switch-on coincides with the first day of the Christmas Fayre in the Great Yarmouth Minster and the Christmas Market at the Market Place.
On Friday from 5pm, Harbour Radio will present live music and entertainment from a double-decker bus stage at the Market Place.
The lights will be turned on at 7pm and it will be followed by a fireworks display.

6. Holt
When: Friday, November 17
The lights will be switched on at 7pm, with a dazzling fireworks display and more live music afterwards.
Other highlights include a festive makers' market in Bakers Yard from 3pm and at 5.30pm is the panto horse race along the High Street, followed by Santa's Parade with the Norwich City Pipers.

7. Norwich
When: Thursday, November 16
The lights will be switched on from the stage in front of City Hall at 7pm, with entertainment from 5.30pm.
West End star Millie O’Connell, who plays the princess in the upcoming Norwich Theatre Royal panto, is the special guest and she will also be singing on the night.
Many Norwich Market stalls will remain open until 8pm and a funfair will be along Gentleman’s Walk from 4.30pm until late.
