A bid to convert a garden room into a beauty salon has been rejected by planners.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council refused a planning application to change the use of an outbuilding at Tally House, a large dwelling on Hall Road in Hopton.
The site is approximately 2.5 miles from the village centre.
Planners said it was remote, distant to public transport and without pedestrian routes.
Visitors would be near totally reliant on the private car, they said.
The application had received no objections.
