Caring and dedicated staff and volunteers at the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston have celebrated the hospital's awards ceremony in style.
The Paget's People awards were presented at a glittering ceremony held at the Ocean Room in Gorleston on Friday night.
This year saw more than 600 nominations from both patients and staff - the highest number ever received since the awards were started more than 10 years ago.
Hospital chief Executive Jo Segasby said: “Once again, our Paget’s People awards has highlighted all that is great about our organisation - compassionate care, dedication and going the extra mile for patients.
“Every year, the awards give us the chance to celebrate the achievements of our staff, and once again we’ve enjoyed a ceremony which has shown what a talented and caring workforce we have at the James Paget.”
“I’d like to congratulate all our finalists. They are stars in a team which is committed to both providing excellent care for our patients while supporting their colleagues across the hospital.”
More than 270 guests attended the event, including some long-serving members of staff who were marking either 30 or 40 years at the James Paget, as well as staff who received Employee of the Month certificates over the past year.
