A country pub has been allowed to keep an outdoor gazebo and a new parking area.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) has given retrospective permission to the owners of the Farmers, on West Road in Ormesby St Margaret, to redesign the pub's exterior.
Work on the timber gazebo and outside seating to the rear of the venue and parking spaces to the side of the pub began in November last year and finished in December.
According to the owners, the revamp allows a safe space for customers and children to enjoy the newly landscaped recreational area and garden.
The applicants also said the area that has been redesigned was hardstanding and "of no real use" to customers or the pub.

One person had objected to the plans, raising concerns over parking and noise.
But planners said the proposal was not harmful to the amenity of the occupants of the neighbouring houses.
They also said there would be no adverse increase in noise or adverse impacts to the character and appearance of the surrounding street scene.
Permission was granted with a condition restricting the use of the outside seating area and gazebo to no later than 10pm daily.
Planners said the condition would help safeguard the living conditions of the surrounding neighbours, especially in terms of noise.
Last year, an interior refurbishment saw the pub, previously known as the Jolly Farmers, kitted out with a new kitchen and new toilets.
One reviewer said it was "a beautiful, friendly pub with great food" while another praised its "pleasant surroundings and prompt service".
In November 2021 plans for the pub's reopening after a £150,000 revamp and name change were revealed.
At the time Paul James, of Third Place Inns, said it had always been his intention to transform the pub since he took it over just as the pandemic hit in March 2020.
