Holidaymakers have been reunited with their stolen bicycles thanks to "detective work" by Great Yarmouth Police.
A married couple had come to Great Yarmouth for a cycling holiday and on their first day had their bikes stolen from the market place area, despite being locked securely.
The couple has now been reunited with their stolen bicycles and a 37-year-old man from the Gorleston area has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft.
A statement from Great Yarmouth Police said: "After reporting it to us, and with a bit of collaborative detective work between the victims and PCs Sills and Chusonis, both bikes were found and reunited with the owners.
"A suspect was also identified, a 37-year-old man from Gorleston, and has since been charged on suspicion of the theft.
"The bikes have also been registered by our officers with the National Cycle Database, to make them more secure for the future."
The bicycles were stolen last month.
In August Great Yarmouth Police held a free bike marking session in St George's Park.
