Objectors criticised plans to turn Ollands Road into a through road as part of the development, with one resident claiming "the road isThe resident added: "This would be a danger to the current residents and more so the children of Ollands Road that play on the front lawns and pavement."
Other residents have objected to the expected increase in traffic, lack of parking spaces in the area and added "danger" while construction is carried out.
The homes provide a mix of family homes and one-bedrooms to support a community.

"With James Paget Hospital rapidly expanding, the need for housing nearby is essential, and this is only a 20-minute walk away."
The plans for Site A contain two one-bedroom homes, eight two-bedroom homes, 12 three-bedroom homes and seven four-bedroom homes off of Kings Drive.
Site B's bid contains two one-bedroom homes, 25 two-bedroom homes, 38 three-bedroom homes and 10 four-bedroom homes off Olland Road and Meadlowand Drive.
All proposed properties include two driveway spaces for vehicles and gardens.
The plans will be discussed at the Bradwell Parish Council meeting at Leo Coles Pavilion on Monday, September 25 from 7pm.
