Hundreds of people in Norfolk cheered on a convoy of nearly 100 lorries as they gave a group of young children a day they'll never forget.
The 36th annual East Coast Truckers Children's Convey saw 98 truck drivers chauffer disabled and disadvantaged children to a day out at Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft on Sunday (August 27).
Leaving County Hall in Norwich at 10am and heading to the theme park under police escort along the A47, the event saw people from Norwich, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth applauding roadside to the symphony of truck horns.
Organiser Trevor Howlett said the support received "meant the world".
"It was an excellent day," he said.
"Even with the rain in Yarmouth, nothing could dampen all of our spirits."
Mr Howlett said the charity group had been clearing up on Monday morning with smiles on their faces.
The counting of the fundraising buckets will begin later this week.
Staff from East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) added their support by joining the convoy.
Teresa Church, a hearing chair for EEAST, said: "It’s an absolute pleasure to be part of this joyous event since 2005."
