A public toilet block that has been attacked by arsonists will be knocked down.
The facility north of the former King William IV pub on Quay Road in Gorleston has been closed for 20 years.
Now an application by Great Yarmouth Borough Council to demolish the block has been approved by planners.
A report by planners said the building was recently subject to an arson attack which left it beyond economic repair.
Officials also said the property had served its purpose and is in very poor condition.
Any future use for the site will be subject to a separate application.
