A flood alert has been issued for an area of The Broads.
The alert comes as a result of the natural tide locking effect of the Broads river system and recent rainfall.
The tidal flood alert area follows the River Yare from Thorpe St Andrew to Breydon Water including Brundall, Cantley, Reedham and Burgh Castle.
High water levels are likely in Brundall and Reedham riverside areas.
People have been warned to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and not to put themselves in unnecessary danger.
Sea levels are expected to drop back down to normal over the next few days.
Flood alerts have been issued for more than 50 miles of Norfolk's coastline, from King's Lynn to Hunstanton, Holme to Wells, Stiffkey to Salthouse and Bacton to Hemsby as high tides were expected.
It comes after the area was issued a yellow weather warning from the Met Office for thunderstorms.
More information is available on the government's Check For Flooding site.
