Fireworks, street acts and a giant buoy are all part of this summer's bumper edition of Big Wednesdays along Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile.
The second in a series of six weekly seafront entertainment events gets underway today (August 2), with fireworks scheduled at 10pm.
To kick things off from 5pm, street act Fenix will be roaming the street dressed as the mythical firebirds throughout the evening.
Over by the Ferris wheel in Sea Life Centre Gardens, a repurposed giant buoy will be displaying times of fireworks and entertainment.
The buoy was painted by the community arts group Reprezent Project and graduate graphic artist Ed Le May.
The Big Wednesday events will run every week throughout August.
Over in Hemsby, crowds gathered yesterday for their weekly summertime spectacular street entertainment and fireworks displays. The village's Big Tuesdays run every week until August 29.
At Hemsby, fireworks start at 10pm every Tuesday, with street acts at 5pm and 9pm.
At Great Yarmouth, fireworks start at 10pm on Wednesdays, with the Fenix street acts at 5pm and 9pm.
