Gourmet burgers and Sunday Yorkshire wraps are now on the menu at a beachside bar and restaurant in Gorleston.

Hungry Hugo's has opened a residency inside Ocean Terrace offering light bites, dirty fries and chicken wings.

The gourmet burger and smokehouse was created by young local couple Liam Frosdick, 22, and Precious Oxborough, 19.

Mr Frosdick has worked in professional kitchens from a young age, even becoming a head chef at age 17, and has competed in competitions including Jamie Oliver's Future Chef.

Mr Frosdick said: "We pride ourselves on delivering the tastiest freshest food around. 

"I'm excited for people to try our creations."

Miss Oxborough said: "We're very excited by this opportunity.

"It's an amazing location and we're already getting great feedback from our customers."

Ocean Terrace runs along the beach-facing side of the Ocean Room venue in Gorleston.

Hungry Hugo's will be serving food seven days a week, with a breakfast menu available from 9.30am until noon, and a lunch menu available from noon to 4pm.

Sunday's menu includes a special loaded Yorkie Sunday dinner wrap.
