Lidl is hoping to open a new branch in Caister with two drive-through restaurants.
The new store would open at the junction between Yarmouth Road and the Caister By-Pass.
The site is currently used as overflow parking for Yarmouth Stadium.
If approved, the Lidl would have in-store facilities such as a bakery and customer toilets.
Plans have promised the building would be "modern and functional with attractive glazed frontages".
The space allows for the store to have just under 130 parking spaces.
Lidl would be open between 8am and 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am and 4pm Sunday.
The operators of the two drive-through restaurants are not yet known but will be announced soon.
Both will have 50 parking spaces each as well as "sustainable design and landscaping".
Lidl would create 40 jobs and the drive-throughs would create 45 jobs.
Local people can have their say on the plans on Carney Sweeney's website or by emailing consultation@carneysweeney.co.uk by July 28.
