Around 3,000 people dressed to the nines to attend Great Yarmouth Racecourse's annual Ladies Evening on Wednesday.
As usual many donned their best and most colourful frocks or dug out their top suits to wear, with this year's Style Awards said to have been one of the most competitive.
Early evening downpours failed to dampen spirits as visitors were treated to a post-race live set by Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills.
Racecourse manager Glenn Tubby said: "It was a fantastic night.
"The weather tried to ruin it, but we got away with it in the end.
"A lot of people entered the style awards, which is always a highlight. Everyone was dressed to impress.
"I was told Scott Mills had never been to the town before. His manager said he had a great time being here."

Among the 3,000 racegoers were caravan owners from Haven Seashore who rolled up in style onboard the Great Yarmouth Road Train.
The unique entrance was organised by Marie Allen, Seashore caravan owner and Haven sales rep.
"We always look forward to coming," she said.
"It's just a great place where you can get dressed up while having a fun day out of work.
"We are a very close-knit community of owners inside Seashore. You just know everybody, and people's doors are always open for a chat or a cup of tea.
"I love what I do here and it's great to bring people along for fun events such as this."
Caravan owner Paul Steele said the group wanted a bit of style with their Road Train entrance.
"It's always a great laugh," he said.
"We've enjoyed canopes, had a giggle, and I can't wait for the races to start."
Equipped for the weather, employees from Aeropak Manufacturing arrived with matching Union flag umbrellas.
Teresa Leese, head of purchasing and supply, said: "The whole company's here tonight, and we've picked our favourite horses."
