The Out There Festival returns to Great Yarmouth this September with a bumper edition with more than 100 acts.

For 15 years, the street art festival has transformed the town into a public gallery of spectacular circus stunts and whimsical performances.

Taking place over three days from September 15, the Out There International Festival of Circus and Outdoor Arts promises to deliver more outstanding, outrageous, and outright trailblazing events.

The first acts have been confirmed for this year's festival, as organisers Out There Arts work around the clock to deliver a must-see event.

French circus company Les Filles du Renard Pâle will bring "an evocative fusion of experimental tightrope performance and trip hop music" in their show, Résiste.

UK act Opposable Thumb Theatre will be putting on a "riot of colour, dance, clowing and puppetry" in their show, Big Boys Don't Cry. The performance digs deep into relationships between fathers and sons.

There will also be musical events from the first-ever three-person band made up of one-man bands. The Octopus Orkestar will be playing genre-bending sounds from Jazz to Cumbia and Klezmer music.

"The Out There Festival 2023 offers once again a quality programme of the best in outdoor arts and circus, bringing together the very best UK and international artists.

"Around 100 shows over the weekend will mix spectacular circus, astounding acrobatics, dance, comedy, wacky creations and music.
