The downpour caused flooding on Bridge Road in Great Yarmouth. This was reported to Norfolk County Council and a tanker will be attending later today to pump out the water.
The weather also led to the temporary closure of Tesco on Yarmouth Road in Caister after rain leaked through a ceiling at back of the building.
Tesco has been contacted for comment.
