Two people were onboard and the lifeboat team carried out welfare checks and made sure there were no mechanical faults causing issues for the boat.
The cruiser was pulled off the mud flat with a towline and brought back into safe water.

The lifeboat continued the tow to Berney Arms Quay where the Coastguard were waiting in order to check the cruiser had not sustained any damage.
After a few checks of the cruiser and the persons onboard, the Coastguard were satisfied for the cruiser to continue and the vessel then went on its way.
