A well-known American-Italian restaurant has announced it will soon be closing its last remaining Norfolk location.
Frankie and Benny's, a themed diner with 69 branches across the country, informed patrons it would cease trading at its Great Yarmouth location early next month, the last surviving branch following closures in Norwich and King's Lynn.
A heartfelt goodbye was posted to the restaurant's door that read: "We just wanted to let all our loyal customers know that we will be closing permanently soon.
"Our last day of trading will be Saturday, July 1 - all bookings after this date should have been contacted via email."
A second sign said: "As of June 19, we will unfortunately be closed to dine-in.
"As our time grows nearer to closing, our team grows smaller and our capacity to provide high-quality services becomes an impossibility.

"We will remain open on all takeaway brands until June 1 when we will say goodbye for good.
"We want to thank you all again for visiting us over the years and wish each other and every one of you all the best."
