A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries following reports of an assault in Great Yarmouth.
Enquiries are ongoing after police were called to an address on Camden Road shortly before 8.45am this morning (June 7) after receiving reports of an assault.
One man was taken to James Paget University Hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital.
Another man, aged in his 40s, was arrested in connection with the incident and remains at Great Yarmouth Investigation Centre for questioning.
At around noon, a police cordon was in place in the back garden of a block of flats on Camden Road.
Two police officers were patrolling the area, while a forensic team were investigating behind the cordon.
